A seasoned Environmental Manager who is experienced and competent in Safety, Health, Environment, Compliance, Enterprise Risk Management & Quality. She has extensive and valuable 17 years of experience in this discipline, moving from an experiential learner to General Manager. She has worked for various provincial departments including Minerals & Energy and Agriculture, Conservation & Environment. Before joining TE she worked for Transnet National Ports Authority (TNPA) as the Environmental Manager, Safety, Health, Environmental & Quality Portfolio Manager and Senior Manager: Enterprise Risk Management. As General Manager: Risk & Safety at Transnet Engineering (TE) her responsibilities included strategic direction of TE’s safety, health, environment and enterprise risk management. She also hold number of awards ranging from Top Speaker Great Performance Award and You can make a difference awards. She is able, capable, goal oriented, assertive, and highly motivated individual who thrives from challenges.

 

Academically, she holds a B-Tech in Environmental Management from the Tshwane University of Technology. She has also completed various training programmes including sustainability management, legal compliance, auditing, enterprise risk management, project management, SHE Management Systems and etc. She also has completed both Leadership Development and Executive Leadership Programme with GIBS.
